Oscar Granas

Oscar's research interest is primarily the dynamics of electronic and magnetic excitations in solids and nano systems. He develops time-dependent density functional theory and extensions thereof to investigate the real-time dynamics of materials under the influence of external electromagnetic fields. Oscar received his PhD in 2012 from Uppsala University under the supervision of Lars Nordström, investigating strongly correlated materials such as transition metal oxides and actinide compounds
