Zoe earned her Ph.D. in physics in 2022 studying two-dimensional multilayered van der Waals heterostructures such as twisted bilayer graphene. She works on a multi-scale model of mechanical relaxation patterns and electronic structures of these layered materials. She did her undergraduate studies at UCLA, with majors in Physics and Applied Mathematics and a minor in Art History.
